This is pretty straight forward and comes with easy to understand directions - what you get is a series of pencil / brush strokes as the author shows you each step of the process: be sure to use a pencil and bring a ruler as you learn how to add perspective to your drawings. I had my Kindle Fire on one side of the table and a large pad of paper right next to it as I went through the text: after two tries I was drawing a road going off into the hillside pretty quick. I have never been called an artist in any sense of the definition - but this book really helps you out.As I mentioned above, I was using this with a Kindle Fire (8.9" screen) and it worked great; it's not so good on my Kindle Keyboard (which is understandable). I originally picked this up for free during a Kindle promotion and, as I type up this review, the price has reverted back to $3.99; if you are a beginner and want to learn how to draw in persepctive, I would recommend this one - if this non-artist can do it, you can, too.

Bingo! now all I have to do is take a weekend and learn it. I would prefer this book in actual book form, I don't think the kindle version is as easy to use.
Great Drawing Book,Just what I was looking for Thanks!!!!!
I'm no gifted painter, that's for sure. But I have learned so many cool drawing tricks from this fun book, You can tell the improvement very easily and almost right away. The fluent eye-to-eye English (For me, it was almost like I could hear the author narrating the instructions...) and the examples were very clearifying and assisting. Thank you, Liron, for for taking us to this little tour behind the curtains to show us how does this little magic work.
Gave this book 3 stars because although the explanations are great I felt as though there weren't enough projects or examples.
The author explains 1- 2- and three point perspective in an easy to understand way. But after just a despairs, he's done. Read in 10 minutes.
You really will be able to quickly draw in perspective, CONFIDENTLY! The author made you feel like he was at the table with you. I had a lot of "ah ha" moments. Very Engaging! I'm a homeschool mom, and I've read a few books on perspective. And stayed confused, not really clear on the copy cat logic.
This author really gets it. You will understand what perspective is. What's so important about the horizon line, and what it is. Why you put vanishing points there, there and there. How they work alone and together in 1, 2 & 3 point perspective. He gives a nice/brief overview of shading, and light sources. You'll have a great foundation to get started and even get deep, following his logic.
I hope the author continues on with more involved techniques like mapping, circles, building scenes, spiral steps... I'll buy that book too. Good Job Liron!
I purchased this book to learn how to draw in perspective, which I had never learned how to do before. This will come in useful as I study interior design, but it is also neat just to know how to draw something you see and have it look right. Drawing is such a basic thing that can be done practically anywhere with anything; I only wish I had taken more of an interest in drawing when I was growing up. It is never too late to learn though, and when I want to unplug from all of the electronics surrounding me, this is an excellent activity.
